before - offering you the classic "tone-wheel" sound by
utilizing 96-DIGITAL TONE WHEELS! This new VASE III sound
generator now makes it possible to reproduce all of the
characteristics of the vintage Hammond B-3. Additionally, the
Hammond XK-3 houses two INTERNAL VACUUM TUBES that will change
continuously from PRE-AMP MODE to OVERDRIVE MODE via control
knob. But wait! The new Hammond XK-3 also includes 12 REVERSE
COLOUR KEY PRESETS, 3 SETS OF DRAWBARS, A 2-ROTOR DIGITAL

Because of the stability of the new age of computer generated
soft synths many musicians now are
looking for a one stop solution for studio and stage
which will give them a real Hammond Organ to match the
portability of the rest of their gear. We already know that the
XK-3's sound engine is unrivalled in its feel, sound, tactility
and authenticity. Now we have added features like real time MIDI
assignable control knobs and buttons. Split Vibrato. on / off
for both upper and lower sets of drawbars and enhanced
overdrive, vibrato and Leslie speaker features. I have used the
XK3 in the studio and live gigs hooked up to my MacBook for
mainly Rhodes and Clavs. It’s fantastic, I can have a panned
Rhodes pad on the lower / left split with a very cool drawbar
setting on the upper / right split. All saved to a pre-set and
go back to the main drawbars at the touch of a button. You only
need one keyboard now and this is it. Because of its portability
and accuracy XK-3 allows you to take gigs / sets where it would
be impossible to get the B.-3 in........ I’m lucky though as I
also own a potable new B-3 as well as the XK-3. Perhaps you
