Hammond Organ UK
attended the show and was 'knocked out' with the interest in the New B3 +
XK3 organs and the Leslie 21 system and Leslie 122XB.
There was never a
dull moment on the stand as Barrie and Malc were kept very busy almost
without a break performing live demos over the three day show period.
We had many
visitors, some famous, some not so famous but all were impressed by the
new B3 Organ and XK3 keyboard.
It was quite
interesting the number of visitors who had never encountered a B3 face
to face before. Most had just seen – used or heard the software /
hardware clones and the general reaction amazement. To quote one person
" **** this is awesome….The real thing is totally different … its got soul,
body, and one huge fat analogue sound. I want one" !
We also spoke to
many keyboard players about learning Hammond Player styles and
techniques, and we will be releasing some very important news soon on
our ‘Be a Hammond player’ project.
Saturday
afternoon, Malc held one of his Hammond Player Workshops in the
exhibitions live area. It was packed to capacity with even more standing
outside in the isle to get a glimpse of this very popular live show.
